Where is my data?

On your device, in the app. There is no account and no server, so a book only exists where you made it. Use Settings → Back up now to write it to a single file you can keep anywhere.

Moving to a new phone or iPad

  1. On the old device: Settings → Back up now, then save the file somewhere you can reach it — Files, iCloud Drive, email it to yourself.
  2. On the new device: open the app and choose Restore from a backup on the welcome screen, or Settings → Restore from a backup.

The file carries your photos too. Both devices can hold the same book; whichever one you restore into last is the current one.

Bringing records from BeePlus or HiveTracks

Export a CSV of hives and inspections from the other app, then use Settings → Import from BeePlus / HiveTracks. Importing the same file twice will not duplicate anything. Photos cannot travel in a CSV.

Why will it not let me add a super?

Because a treatment is on that hive. The app holds supering until the withdrawal date so honey is never taken while a treatment is in place, and it schedules the removal in your diary for you. The Record screen shows the date it lifts.

I recorded something against the wrong hive

Open the hive, tap the entry in its history, and choose Move to another hive — or Delete this entry. Anything the entry created, such as a mite count or a harvest, moves or goes with it.

I wrote up a visit the next day

On the inspection screen, tap filled in next to the date and pick the day it actually happened. The visit is filed on that day.

Is there a subscription?

No. One payment, no account, and export is free — CSV, PDF, or the whole season as a single file.
